PSX5 Fully Automatic Pencil SharpenerCharging Instructions
Use the included 5V charging cable with any standard 5V USB port.
(Note: Do not use fast-charging devices, as this model does not support fast charging.*)
- Charging:Slow blinking indicator
- Fully charged:Steady light
- Overheat protection:Fast blinking (let it cool for ~15 mins before resuming)
- Low battery warning:Fast blinking (charge for 15 mins to reuse. Full charge takes ~2 hrs.)
If the sharpener is unresponsive:
1. Check if the battery is drained. Charge for 15 mins using the included cable with any 5V adapter/USB port, then retest.
2. Ensure a 5V adapter is used (*no fast chargers*). Test by connecting to a laptop USB port—slow blinking confirms normal charging.
3. Verify the lid is fully closed. Twist it until you hear a "click" to lock.
4. If unresolved, contact support with details for further assistance.
Pencil inserted but ejected without sharpening:
1. Check if the sharpness setting is at the bluntest level. Adjust to the sharpest setting and retest.
2. Inspect for stuck lead. Set to bluntest level, gently tap the sharpener on a desk, then retest. If unresolved, follow the video guide to remove and clean the blade/sensor area.

3. Open the lid and press the metal sensor (see image). If the sharpener activates, contact support for a lid replacement. If no response, reach out for next steps.
4. If unresolved, contact support with details for further assistance.
Sudden sharpening issues (blunt cuts, broken pencils, no auto-stop, etc.):
1. Check if the pencil is too soft for this model. Test with a standard 2B pencil. If it works, avoid using overly soft pencils.
2. Check for stuck lead. Set to bluntest level, gently tap the sharpener on a desk, then retest. If unresolved, follow the video guide to remove and clean the blade/sensor area.

Lid opens during use:
Ensure the lid is fully locked by twisting until you hear a "click."
Declining sharpening performance after heavy use (uneven/rough cuts, etc.):
Normal blade wear. Contact support for a replacement blade.
